Up and running in one lift ride

Three steps to never losing anyone.

Create a group

Start a private group for your ski day. Add a password if you want extra control over who gets in.

Share the invite link

Send one link in any chat. Friends tap it and land straight in your group — no codes to type.

See everyone, instantly

Open the camera or the map and see where everyone is, how far away, and which way to go.

Built for the moments plans break apart

Find people without turning the mountain into a chat thread.

SightFind is not a social feed. It is a focused tool for groups that need to regroup on snow, in resort villages, and around complicated lift networks.

Camera direction

Friend labels appear over the live camera view, right where each person actually is.

Mountain map

Friends, ski slopes, lifts, and terrain on one map made for resort days.

Privacy first

You choose which groups see your location. Nobody can turn sharing on for you.

Invite links

One private link gets your whole group in. No accounts, no sign-up forms.

Saved slope maps

Download slope data for supported countries so the map stays fast on the hill.

Distance & direction

Every friend shows live distance and heading, so a quick glance is enough.

A mountain-first interface

See your group without stopping the day.

SightFind keeps friend direction, distance, group sharing, map controls, and slope overlays readable when you only have a few seconds to check.

  • Native iPhone GPS and heading support
  • Group admins, private invite links, and per-group sharing
  • Saved ski slope downloads for supported countries
  • Optional SightFind Plus with no in-app ads

Important safety standard

Helpful location, not rescue infrastructure.

SightFind can be wrong or delayed because of weather, terrain, tree cover, battery state, sensors, and network conditions. Resort signs, patrol instructions, avalanche bulletins, official maps, and emergency services always come first.

SightFind Plus

No ads. Core finding stays available.

Plus is optional support for the live service. It removes in-app ads while the core group, map, slope, and location-sharing tools remain available to everyone.

Good to know

Questions people actually ask.

Who can see my location?

Only people in groups you have joined, and only while sharing is on for that group. Each group has its own switch, sharing pauses automatically when the app stays in the background, and leaving a group stops sharing with it immediately.

How much does it cost?

SightFind is free to download and use. SightFind Plus is an optional subscription that removes in-app ads — the core group, camera, and map features stay available without it.

How do my friends join?

Send them your group's invite link in any chat app. Tapping it opens SightFind straight into your group. You can also share the group code instead. Treat both like private links — only share them with people you want in the group.

Does it work everywhere on the mountain?

Live location needs a network connection, and GPS can be less accurate in steep terrain or heavy weather. You can download slope data for supported countries in advance so the map stays useful when coverage is thin. Use it as guidance, not as the final word.

Is SightFind an emergency or rescue tool?

No. SightFind is not ski patrol, avalanche rescue, or an emergency service. When safety is at risk, follow resort staff instructions and call local emergency services.

Which devices does it support?

SightFind is an iPhone app, available on the App Store.
